PCI Compliant Hosting

Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance is a set of security requirements developed by major credit card processing companies to ensure consistent data security on a global basis. This comprehensive standard is focused towards protecting customer account data from increasing identity thefts and security breaches. If your online business requires credit card processing, most likely you need an internet merchant account and your site needs to pass the PCI test by such companies as Mcafee Secure or HackerGuardian. PCI compliant hosting servers are configured with advanced firewall rules and are regularly updated with the latest OS and software patches.
Web hosting plans listed on our website may not be compliant with these standards.

Server Up Time Status

This Service Level Agreement (SLA) covers the availability and up time guarantee of our Domain, Email Hosting, Bulk Email Servers, Shared, Reseller, VPS and Dedicated Hosting Services.


This SLA applies to any Shared/Reseller/ VPS/Dedicated Server Hosting Customer in good financial standing with ECBuzz.com at the time of a service outage.


ECBuzz.com endeavors to have the content of all your web sites (which are being served by ECBuzz.com) available for HTTP access by any party in the world 99.9% of the time. Service outage (unavailability) is defined as 100% packet loss from ECBuzz.com to its backbone providers.


In the event that that the average availability of all your websites (served by ECBuzz.com) falls below 99%, ECBuzz.com will credit the following month's Service Fee as follows. Such credit shall be retroactive and shall be calculated as below, with the maximum credit not to exceed hundred (100) percent of the monthly Service Fee charge for the affected month.

  • 95% to 98.9%
  • 90% to 94.9%
  • 80% to 89.9%
  • 79.9% or below

Credit Percentage

  • 0%
  • 10%
  • 25%
  • 50%
  • 100%

In order for you to receive a credit, you must request such credit within seven (7) days after you experienced the incident of web site unavailability. You must request credit by emailing us at support@ecbuzz.com Please be sure to include the address of the affected web site, the dates and times of its unavailability, and your personal information as on ECBuzz.com records. Credits will be granted within twenty four (24) hours of your credit request if ECBuzz.com confirms the unavailability. No credit will be given if ECBuzz.com cannot confirm the unavailability of the website in question.
Credit to your account shall be your sole and exclusive remedy in the event of an outage. All credits given by ECBuzz.com are non refundable and may only be used to pay current or future service fees.


Credits shall not be provided to you in the event that you have any outage resulting from

  1. Scheduled maintenance as posted from time to time at ECBuzz.com's website.
  2. Your behavior, the non-performance or failure of your software or applications.
  3. Circumstances beyond ECBuzz.com's reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of any governmental body, war, insurrection, sabotage, embargo, fire, flood, strike or other labor disturbance, interruption of or delay in transportation, unavailability of interruption or delay in telecommunications or third party services, including DNS propagation, domain name registration, domain transfer, failure of third party software or hardware or inability to obtain raw materials, supplies, or power used in or equipment needed for provision of your web site.

Personal Information Collected

In the course of serving our customers ECBuzz.com receives, stores and transmits data that may be private or sensitive. Some of these data are provided to us by our customers in order that we may provide service. Examples of these data include your business name, telephone number and credit card information. Other data is created and stored by ECBuzz.com as we configure and maintain customers' service. Examples of this data include your choice of service and logs of your account activity. ECBuzz.com also uses cookies to track usage of our website in aggregate.

Disclosure of Customer Information and Communications

ECBuzz.com will not disclose its customers' personal and account data unless we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of ECBuzz.com, ECBuzz.com's customers, or others, or where ECBuzz.com has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.
ECBuzz.com also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that ECBuzz.com stores or transmits for its customers.

The circumstances under which ECBuzz.com will disclose such electronic customer communications are when :

  • It is necessary in order to provide service to the customer.
  • It is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of ECBuzz.com and its customers.
  • Is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants, or other legal process that ECBuzz.com determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable.
  • It is necessary to provide a law enforcement agency when the contacts are inadvertently obtained by ECBuzz.com and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime.

Modification of Customer Information

Customers may modify their personal information by sending an email to support@ecbuzz.com.

Refund Policy

Every shared hosting and reseller hosting account ordered from ECBuzz.com comes with a 10 Day Money Back Guarantee. In the event that Customer wishes to cancel Services within the first 10 days, ECBuzz.com will refund fees paid to Customer after deducting credit card transaction fee. Domain name registration fees, setup fees, add-on service fees, vps and dedicated server fees, are non-refundable. Refund is not eligible for returning Customer and Customer signing up special offer.

Customer may cancel an account with ECBuzz.com when :

  • Account is in good standing, all payments have been made.
  • Account does not host content which is not allowed on our network or servers.
  • Account has no pending warnings / complaints.

If Customer violates our Terms of Service, ECBuzz.com reserves the right to terminate Services and Products without notice. ECBuzz.com may advise Customer of inappropriate behavior and any necessary corrective action, however based on the nature of the violation, could result in immediate termination of service without any refunds.
Refunds are to be requested by sending an email to sales@ecbuzz.com. You must provide details of your original transaction including invoice/receipt number and account number wherever possible to aid in processing the refund. Reasons for the refund will also be requested to allow us to better improve our service and monitor refund requests.
For Services and Products with payment made by credit or debit card, any refund will only be issued to the same credit or debit card. Credit card transaction 5% is deducted from the refund.
In all circumstances, refunds will be given at the discretion of the ECBuzz.com's Management Team.
